Pancetta Green Beans

Ingredients

  • 4 oz Diced Pancetta
  • 24 oz Green Beans, trimmed
  • Shallot, sliced
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • Garlic Cloves, minced
  • 3 tbsp Brown Sugar, packed
  • 1 tbsp Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 tsp Pepper
  • Pinch  Red Pepper Flakes
  • 3 tbsp Pumpkin Seeds
  • 3 tbsp Craisins, rough chopped

Method of Preparation

Pancetta Green Beans - Step 1

Step 1

Heat a skillet over medium heat.

Cook pancetta until crispy, remove and drain on paper towels.

Step 2

In the same pan add the green beans, shallot, garlic, and butter. Sauté over medium heat for 6-8 minutes.

Step 3

Add in the brown sugar, soy sauce, and spices. Evenly coat the green beans, sauté for 1-2 minutes.

Step 4

Garnish the top with the cooked pancetta, pumpkin seeds, and craisins.
