Ingredients
- 2 sheets Puff Pastry, thawed
- 4 oz Strawberry Jam
- 8 Strawberries, tops removed, halved
- 1 tbsp Milk
- 1 tbsp Sanding/Coarse Sugar
- 1/4 cup Chocolate, melted
- Garnish: Powdered Sugar
Method of Preparation

Step 1
Preheat the oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Step 2
Roll out the puff pastry sheets on a flour surface. Using a heart cookie cutter, cut out 4 hearts from each pastry sheet.
Place the hearts on the baking sheet.
Optional: You can combine and re-roll all the scraps to make more hearts.

Step 3
Prick the center of the hearts with a fork. Leave an untouched border around the heart.

Step 4
Add 1 tbsp of strawberry jam to the center of the hearts.

Step 5
Place two halved strawberries in the center of the heart, forming a heart shape.

Step 6
Brush the edges of the hearts with milk. Sprinkle with the sanding sugar.
Bake for 15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown.

Step 7
Garnish with a chocolate drizzle and powdered sugar. Enjoy!
