Ingredients
- 1 18oz Round Loaf Bread
- 1/4 cup Butter & 2 sprigs Fresh Thyme, melted
- 16 oz Brie Cheese, outside removed, bite-sized pieces
- 1 cup Cranberry Sauce
- Garnish: Fresh Cranberries / Thyme Sprigs
- Brown Sugar Walnuts: ---
- 2 tbsp Butter, melted
- 3 tbsp Brown Sugar
- 1 tsp Cinnamon
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- 1/4 cup Walnuts, rough chopped
Method of Preparation
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Step 2
Slice the bread into grid-like pattern.
Slice in the middle, cutting almost all the way through. Move 1-inch over and continue the same cut. Continue this pattern across the entire loaf.
Rotate the loaf and do the same cuts as before.
Step 3
Carefully pull the bread apart and brush the inside with melted thyme butter.
Step 4
Stuff the brie pieces between the sliced segments of the bread.
Step 5
Top the brie pieces with the cranberry sauce and sprinkle fresh cranberries on top.
Step 6
In a bowl toss the brown sugar walnuts ingredients.
Step 7
Sprinkle the walnuts on top of the bread.
Bake for 15-20 minutes or until the brie begins to melt. Serve immediately and enjoy!
