Vegan Diet
Vegetarians do not eat meat, fish or poultry. Vegans, in addition to being vegetarian, do not use other animal products and by products such as eggs, dairy products, honey, leather, fur, silk, wool, cosmetics and soap derived from animal products.
The key to a nutritionally sound vegan diet is variety: a diet rich with fruits, vegetables, plenty of leafy greens, whole grain products, nuts, seeds, and legumes.

What is Low Glycemic
Glycemic index is a ranking system for carbohydrates based on their effect on blood glucose levels. Carbohydrates that break down slowly, releasing glucose gradually into the blood stream, have a low glycemic index. A lower glycemic index indicates slower rates of digestion and absorption of sugars and starches.
